Born in Sicily Italy, I arrived in the US when I was 7. I lived in Western PA until I was 14, moving to Norristown where I graduated from High School. After graduating from DeVry with Associates Degree in Electronics, I moved to Reading in 1990.
I spent most of my working life in the computer field until becoming a Realtor four years ago.
I have always had a passion for martial arts. When I was in high school I studied Ninja-Fu under master Chang in Bridgeport PA. When I moved to Reading I found Sensei Snyder and East Coast Karate and felt like I found my home. I also met my wife Kelly at E.C.K.. We now have a son, Dillan (4 Years), and daughter, Olivia (1 year). I have been involved with martial arts for 20 + years, hold a second degree black belt and help teach classes at East Coast Karate. I have learned that in life if you treat others the way you want to be treated, good things will come of it. OSU!

I started karate in 1993 at the age of six after begging my parents to take me for lessons. My interest in the martial arts came mostly from TV shows and movies. After eleven years of balancing school sports and karate, I went for my black belt. The test is something I will never forget as it was probably the most difficult trial that I will ever have to over come.
The day following my black belt test I moved to Delaware for 3 months to work on jet skis before I headed for school. I spent 14 months in Orlando Florida to train for boat repair at Marine Mechanics Institute. After that I came back to PA and worked for family and friends until I found a job in Delaware. After three months of being there, I decided to move home and found a job at Maiden Creek Marine & RV. Once home I returned to East Coast Karate to begin training again and assumed the role of an instructor. Feel free to ask for my help or any questions. OSU!!!

I began my studies in the martial arts many years ago while in high school. My first exposure was during a 10 week judo course with a friend. After that I studied for about 3 years at another school in the Reading area before wandering into one of Sensei Snyder’s beginner classes. That same night I threw away my current rank of brown belt from the other school and joined Mr. Snyder as a new white belt. That was 1986…..
Since that time Sensei Snyder and Dai Sensei Odo have taken me on a path of learning, teaching and competition that has led me across the US and Canada as well parts of Europe .
I attribute the successes in all aspects of my life to my experiences in the martial arts over the past 20 years. At a certain point, the goal of my studies changed from getting to the next belt to fully experiencing the scope of what we do.
In real life I am a Mortgage Banker with Sovereign Bank in Wyomissing , PA and live with my fiancé in the Mohnton area. I also enjoy hosting an educational show about mortgage financing on the local Reading TV station BCTV.
